A CALL TO ALL HPC PROFESSIONALS TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE NEW STATE OF THE PRACTICE TECHNICAL
TRACK FOR SC11

Deadline for Abstract Submissions Extended to: Tuesday, May 31
Deadline for Final Report (for committee review) Extended to Friday, June 24

You have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and experiences to a new venue for the discussion and exchange of best practices supporting HPC infrastructure, including: installation, provisioning, adjunct critical systems and services, etc.  SC11 recognizes that many of the community challenges such as improving performance at scale, large-scale system management, highly parallel storage, high-speed networks, and energy efficiency will span institutions, architectures and vendors, even within a single facility. It is valuable to provide an open exchange of best ideas and methods for dealing with the aspects of unprecedented scale. The State of the Practice component is a formal, peer-reviewed venue organized to address this need. Reports and presentations will be available as a permanent record within the ACM and IEEE CS archives. Organizations and individuals that may not routinely participate in the Technical Program should consider this forum as a means to increase the visibility of HPC achievements
