However, much of the interest in these architectures is an artifact of the hype associated with them. For such architectures to truly be a successful HPC platform, it is important that we look beyond this hype and learn what these architectures provide and what is critically missing in these architectures.=0A=0AThis BoF will bring together researchers working on and interested in these aspects, that would require fundamental research from the community to address in the exascale time-frame. The organizers have invited several researchers working in these areas to describe their point-of-view on this topic and provide updates on the status of software maturity for heterogeneous accelerators.
