The Center for Research on Innovative Simulation Software (CISS), The University of Tokyo, is leading the project. Three areas of seven applications are being developed to contribute to creation of new design scheme and product quality, taking the most advantage of recent architectures with tens of thousands of CPUs like the “K” supercomputer. In “Manufacturing” area (1) Thermo-Fluid Analysis Solver, (2) Structural Analysis Solver, (3) Composite Material Strength & Reliability Simulator, and (4) Multi Dynamics Simulator are being developed. “Quantum Bio” area is for (5) Bio Nano Molecule Simulator and (6) Bio Molecule Interaction Simulator. “Nano Device” is for (7) Quantum Function Analysis, Nano Device Simulator.
