When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side
is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own
schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal
schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook
calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be
stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your
own schedule to guide you through the week.
You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.
ABSTRACT: CULA is a GPU-accelerated linear algebra library that utilizes the NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing architecture to dramatically improve the computation speed of sophisticated mathematics. The LAPACK functionality provided by CULA is critical to many applications ranging from computer-aided engineering and medical imaging reconstruction to climate change models, financial analysis and more. CULA offers performance up to an order of magnitude faster than optimized CPU-based linear algebra solvers and because it does not require CUDA programming experience, users can very easily start using it. Approaching 10,000 users, CULA is adding tremendous value to a wide range of applications and this presentation will talk about some of the most exciting ones. In this talk, we will describe the library with emphasis on the new features: sparse linear algebra solvers and the zero-effort Link Interface for instant acceleration.
