When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side
is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own
schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal
schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook
calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be
stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your
own schedule to guide you through the week.
You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.

ABSTRACT: Behind the innovations that help make everyday life a little better are challenging technical contradictions. Remove a stain, but protect the fabric. Make a package that never leaks, but opens easily. All these bring Science and Engineering challenges that traditionally were explored empirically with full scale and function prototypes. Our ability to innovate was governed by our how fast and how well we could make these prototypes and test them—but in the real world only. To break this limitations in other industries (like pharma, aviation, defense, transportation, even durable consumer goods etc.) Modeling & Simulation using High Performance computing has been highly developed and leveraged. It has helped fuel the High Performance Computing world. In this talk, we will explore how those same M&S approaches, and some new ones, have begun to power the innovation behind consumer goods that make each of our lives a little better every day.
