When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side
is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own
schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal
schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook
calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be
stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your
own schedule to guide you through the week.
You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.
ABSTRACT: GPUs allow advanced high performance computing with lower budgets,
affecting scientific computing from very high-end supercomputing systems
down to the departmental and personal level. Learn how to make
effective use of the available performance on GPUs. This tutorial uses
progressively more complex examples to motivate performance
optimization, and will include several hands-on exercises. Attendees
will receive instructions on how to pre-load exercises and GPU
development tools on their Windows, Linux, or MacOS laptops prior to the
tutorial. Many of the exercises can be done even on laptops without a
GPU. The morning session will focus on optimizing CUDA C, OpenCL and
CUDA Fortran programs. The afternoon session will continue with
performance optimization using directive-based GPU programming,
including the PGI Accelerator Programming model and the proposed OpenMP
Accelerator directives.
