The LAPACK functionality provided by CULA is critical to many applications ranging from computer-aided engineering and medical imaging reconstruction to climate change models, financial analysis and more. CULA offers performance up to an order of magnitude faster than optimized CPU-based linear algebra solvers and because it does not require CUDA programming experience, users can very easily start using it. Approaching 10,000 users, CULA is adding tremendous value to a wide range of applications and this presentation will talk about some of the most exciting ones. In this talk, we will describe the library with emphasis on the new features: sparse linear algebra solvers and the zero-effort Link Interface for instant acceleration.
